I have been offering advice in different segments of the financial market for the last 9 years. My career in the financial services industry began at Barclays, South Africa one of the biggest and most respected bank’s in the world. During my time there I received world class training and gained great experience and knowledge in a number of facets of the Banking and Financial Services Industry. From there I gained a role with Telesure which houses the leading Insurance Brands in South Africa. My knowledge of the insurance world increased dramatically as I dealt with different company’s policies and procedures. This background has ensured that I am accustomed to giving advice that is fully directed towards the client’s best interest, is delivered in a way that is easy to understand, educated and enables the client to make a no pressure, informed decision in their own time from a position of knowledge. I still hold true to this today in all facets of my business.

My qualifications are:

·         NQF Level 4 certificate-Insurance (INSETA SA)

·         Banking – FAIS and FICA Accredited (SA)

·         Accreditation in banking products (SA)

Personal Details:

I was born and raised in Durban, South Africa, met my wife Jayde at the tender age of 17, dated for a couple of years and married in 2005. Two years later we had our son Jude, who at the present age of 4 is a bundle of joy. We decided that even though South Africa was our home we wanted to explore different cultures and lifestyles. We relocated to Christchurch in May 2010 and life was bliss until nature showed us different in September 2010.Despite these challenges we persevere and feel proud to call Christchurch our home.

I am envious of my old 21 year old body and am trying my utmost to get back in shape. I enjoy going to the gym, mountain biking around Bottle Lake Forest and the occasional game of Golf.

Why Do Business With Me?

My wife’s dad died of a heart attack at the young age of 38 and with no insurance in place, it forced her then stay at home mum to move in with Jayde’s grandparents. Her mum then had to hold down a job while studying to better her chances as a now career mom.

When something so tragic happens so close to home you begin to understand the importance of having insurance. My job is to make sure that when life throws you these curveballs you have the right amount of cover in place, to get you through. At the same time I make sure the cover is not just thumb sucked but tailor-made so that it is relevant and affordable.
